This special scheme promotes the Zhaosu region in Xinjiang, the "hometown of Tianma". Tianma was a winged flying horse in Chinese folklore. Scenery on the plane features the Tianshan Mountains and Zhaosu prairie. The airline serves the area via the newly upgraded Xinjiang Zhaosu Airport with service to Urumqi. The two sides are different (Summer scene on the port side and Winter scene on the starboard side) but both feature rainbows as the area is known as "China's rainbow capital".

This special scheme was unveiled in late 2023 to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the creation of the China-Singapore Eco-City in Tianjin. The hand-painted-styled scheme is different on the two sides of the fuselage and highlights local landmarks such as the Rainbow Bridge, the National Maritime Museum, the China-Singapore Friendship Library, the city's main center and the Seasons World. The planned city housed approximately 100,000 in 2019.

These two A320 promoting the city of Tianjin were unveiled in early 2019, featuring Tianjin Eye, other buildings and the waves of the Hai river, a traditional design element of the area.
The Chinese titles on the front part are the motto of the Tianjin Tourism Bureau official campaign, a partner of the airline. It is unclear if B-9989 ever flew with the special decals on as this airframe was stored in Tianjin and finally dismantled in 2024.

On August 1st 2018, Tianjin Airlines celebrated its 100th aircraft in the fleet at Tianjin-Binhai Airport. The milestone makes Tianjin one of the major airlines of China. The rear of the aircraft shows handpainted drawings of Tianjin landmarks: the Jiefang Bridge, the Century Clock, the Sky Tower and Tianjin Eye among others.

This large nationwide event taking place every 4 years was hosted in 2017 by Tianjin and Luoyang, Henan. The "Jin Wa" mascot of the event could be seen on the front part of the plane carrying a "Tianjin torch". It was inspired by traditional Tianjin "Yangliuqing" doll paintings, which are strongly linked to local ethnic style.
On a side note this airframe was the very first A321 operated by the airline.

Weibo is a Chinese microblogging website (its literal meaning is Sina Microblog). Akin to a hybrid of Twitter and Facebook, it is one of the most popular sites in China. "Wei bo" is also Chinese for scarf, hence the scheme. This aircraft was used as a logojet by the Internet company, and flew the inaugural flight of the airline between Tianjin and Hong Kong on July 15, 2011.
